A Beautiful Wedding Catering Experience with Timbers Group

Last Saturday, we had the absolute pleasure of catering for a beautiful wedding, and what an incredible day it was! It was an honour to be part of such a special occasion, but let's take you back to the beginning and give you a little peek into what catering with Timbers Group is all about.

From the First Conversation to the Big Day

The journey began early last year, when the bride and groom got in touch with us. They had booked their stunning venue, Prested Hall, and were looking for caterers who could bring their vision to life. Of course, we were delighted to say yes!

Alongside The Eat Inn Diner, Timbers, and Café 21, Timbers Group provides catering for a wide range of events, from weddings and corporate breakfasts to private celebrations and special occasions. Weddings are always a privilege to be part of, and we couldn't wait to get started.

Over the following months, we met with the couple several times to understand exactly what they wanted for their big day. We discussed ideas, created a menu tailored to their tastes, and invited them in for a tasting session. Once every detail was perfect and the menu was finalised, it was full steam ahead!

The Big Day

From the moment we arrived, our team worked hard to ensure everything ran smoothly, creating a seamless dining experience for the bride, groom and all of their guests.

The menu included a delicious homemade pâté to start, with a vegetarian bruschetta option available. For the main course, guests enjoyed a traditional roast beef dinner, with a carefully prepared vegetarian alternative. To finish, they had the choice of two favourites: a refreshing Eton mess or a rich chocolate brownie.

Every event is unique, and we pride ourselves on delivering delicious homemade food, friendly service and attention to every detail. Seeing everyone enjoying their meals and celebrating together made all the hard work worthwhile.

A Wonderful Ending

The perfect ending to an unforgettable day was receiving an amazing review from the happy couple. Hearing such kind feedback means the world to our team and reminds us why we love doing what we do.
